fierce in floral?

Free People March 2010 catalog just arrived & the back covered featured Floral Slouch Clogs that really caught my eye. Granted, it's common for my to initially love everrrything they (&Anthropologie) have to offer; apparently I was the only one. Out of the 5 other people with me when I first saw them, all 5 of them hated the clogs! I heard Monday's night GG echo in my head, when Blair said, "An ugly wooden shoe that tried to make a statement and then disappeared..." According to 1 of the 5, "they look like casts on both legs." Another chimed, "why are they opened toe?" I agree, but i'm definitely still attracted to them. I might have considered purchasing a pair, even to wear just once, but definitely not for the price ($248).

Am I the only one??

...ok, you can get them in closed clog too. haha...

morning, sunshine!

Good morning, sunshines!
Yes! It is a brand new, beautiful day outside, as I sit inside & type my thoughts out to you! Let me introduce myself, & this blog: HeartsFashionGalore is going to be a collective look at both the unstoppable fashion industry & (inevitably) the celebutante world that comes with that experience. I will be posting pictures (papz), commentary regarding fashion, & everything and anything else that can fit into that niche. Obviously, being my own blog, it will thus somewhat reflect my own opinions. In fact, this whole blog idea came about when my boyfriend suggested that I transform my hard-copy “Look Books” into a multimedia project. I’d also like to point out Rumi Neely of www.fashiontoast.com “fame” for her inspiration; she, perhaps, can most closely resemble the same emphatic feeling of life, fashion & photography that I would also like to convey, through our own (even if mine is somewhat limited) experience. Plus, her style is killer. Lastly, for now, let me just say this I will try not to bore any possible “followers” with opinionated tales & the such, but rather I’d like to convey a point (of aesthetics) & my interests, & thus it will focus on exactly that. I’d like to jump right in tonight; FYI I’m going to try & not “back track” on the fashion experience, but rather keep moving, as it currently is, forward, & save those hard-copy explorations for rainy days! ENJOY .x.
